Dog Training Services

Let us jump start your puppy training, take the work off your plate, and help to get your little one off to a great start in life, all in the comfort and safety of your own home!

You don’t need to be home during sessions- we take care of everything! If your puppy is jumping, nipping,or pulling on the leash, this program will help! After our initial in-person consultation, we will get your pup scheduled. Our established safe home access standards at Merry Puppins allow us to provide care and training without taking a car ride or getting to class on time! We send a report card after every session, and give you bite size weekly homework.. At the last class, your pup receives a graduation photo and certificate! We wrap things up with a zoom call to fine-tune and answer any questions.

Classes in our East End School House are available evenings and weekends for you and your pup. Our unique open enrollment structure allows you to start anytime without waiting! All group classes start with an orientation session without your dog.

Our basic offering is Puppy and Adult Manners. All graduates receive a certificate and graduation photo! We also have rotating workshops, including enrichment, cooperative care, and other topics of interest.

Day School for Dogs provides socialization, enrichment, and training activities for puppies 6 months or older. Your dog will have supervised play time with their BFF’s, daily themed training activities including Art Class, Gym Class, and even Home Economics, plus an individual walk with a trained Merry Puppins Dog Walker. You will receive an electronic report card of how your dog did that day, with lots of details!

Practically Perfect Walk and Train is the easy-on-you solution to help your adult dog with loose leash walking and basic manners in your own home. While you are provided with weekly homework for you and your pup, you don’t need to worry about being home- we will take care of everything! Basic Adult Manners class in our East End Schoolhouse follows an open enrollment format so you can get started anytime without waiting! Day School for Adult Dogs in our East End Schoolhouse gives adult dogs the opportunity to make friends, continue their education, and have fun! Dogs can be lifelong learners, just like people! Your dog will enjoy fun group activities and 1:1 training every day, as well as supervised play time, and an individual walk with a trained Merry Puppins Dog Walker. You will receive an electronic report card with lots of details about how your dog did that day! It’s so much fun, and a great accompaniment to group classes or in home training programs!

Private dog training always starts with a full initial consultation. Current Merry Puppins clients receive concierge onboarding and a discount on the initial consultation. We will learn about your training goals and make recommendations on options for you and your dog. We offer individual training sessions as well as three- and five-session packages. Private sessions can be taken alongside group classes for extra practice, too!
